On Feb. 8, the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will take to the field, facing off inSuper Bowl LX. It might be football's biggest night, but many non-sports fans are anticipating seeingBad Bunnyrock the stadium with his reggaeton rhythms during the Halftime Show as well.

In September 2025, the "DtMF" singer was announced as the Halftime Show performer, and in January 2026,a trailerfor his concert was released, featuring him dancing to his song "BAILE INoLVIDABLE."

Bad Bunny (whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) is just one of the musical acts bringing the entertainment factor to the special event. Before the Halftime Show,Green Daywill represent their hometown of Santa Clara, Calif., at the start of the opening ceremony.

Charlie Puth will sing the national anthem, followed by Brandi Carlile's rendition of "America the Beautiful" and Coco Jones' performance of "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

Who is performing first at the 2026 Super Bowl opening ceremony?

Green Day will kick off the football festivities in their hometown of Santa Clara, which is hosting the 2026 Super Bowl.

The Grammy-winning rock bandwill performduring the opening ceremony on Super Bowl Sunday, and their set will give NFL MVPs.

"We are super hyped to open Super Bowl 60 right in our backyard!" lead singerBillie Joe Armstrongsaid, per theAssociated Press. "We are honored to welcome the MVPs who've shaped the game and open the night for fans all over the world. Let's have fun! Let's get loud!"

Tim Tubito, the NFL's senior director of event and game presentation, added, "Celebrating 60 years of Super Bowl history with Green Day as a hometown band, while honoring the NFL legends who've helped define this sport, is an incredibly powerful way to kick off Super Bowl LX."

"As we work alongside NBC Sports for this opening ceremony, we look forward to creating a collective celebration for fans in the stadium and around the world," he continued.

Green Day is comprised of lead singer and guitarist, Armstrong, backing vocalist and bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool.

Who is performing the national anthem at the 2026 Super Bowl?

"Changes" singerPuthwill be part of the pre-game performances with a rendition of the national anthem.

In a January 2026Rolling Stoneinterview, he revealed he got the gig after auditioning for it.

"I actually have always wanted to do this, and I recorded a little demo, just me singing with the Rhodes and sent it to Roc Nation," Puth said. "I've been toldJay-Zloved it, and it got to [NFL Commissioner Roger] Goodell and they all said that I could do it."

As for past performances of "The Star-Spangled Banner," the "Attention" singer namedWhitney Houston's as "the best one ever done."

"That and theChris Stapletonone. That was raw. Made grown men cry," he continued. "I just want to do my own thing with the hardest piece of music ever written. And I just wanna show people that I can do it. I feel like people don't really think of me as, like, a stand-alone vocalist at times."

Who is performing "America the Beautiful" at the 2026 Super Bowl?

During a January 2026 interview onThe SoCal Soundin Los Angeles, the singer shared that she had "a lot of big feelings about" singing "America the Beautiful," calling the opportunity "profound."

"That is a song that I can fully put every piece of my weight behind, every piece of my heart and soul I can put inside the lyric of 'America the Beautiful' and mean it. And if I couldn't, I wouldn't. I wouldn't have sung it," Carlile said, perParade.

"And to me, on some level, that is my national anthem because it upholds and embraces the idea of America, and what America is supposed to be for everyone," she continued. "And a belief that it can still happen."

Who is performing "Lift Every Voice and Sing" at the 2026 Super Bowl?

Joneswill be performing "Lift Every Voice and Sing," a hymn referred to as the Black national anthem.

"I don't know how to feel. I'm still shocked," she said during an appearance onApple Musicin December 2025. "It's just surreal, my life sometimes, but I do think it's an honor that they looked at me and they said, 'Yup, she can represent culture in this worldwide moment.' "

"I'm super grateful about that," added the "ICU" singer.

Who is performing the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show?

Bad Bunny is the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer.

In September 2025, it was announced that Bad Bunny would take the stage during the big game.

"What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Ricois truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world's biggest stage," Jay-Z — who is the league's "live music entertainment strategist" — said in a statement.

When he was announced to be the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show performer, Bad Bunny said, "What I'm feeling goes beyond myself."

"It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown," he continued. "This is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL."
