Horse racing community left shattered by tragic death of 10-year-old son of one of the sport's biggest families
One of New Zealand's most high-profile horse racing families has been struck by tragedy after a 10-year-old boy died, and two other family members were injured following an off-road vehicle crash. Jimmy Schick, aged 10, passed away following an off-road accident while the group were believed to be on a hunting trip in the family's estate near to Cambridge, New Zealand, on Sunday. His father, Rodney, suffered critical injuries in the accident but is said to be in a stable condition.
