Cowboys sacrifice player to sign George Pickens after huge trade
The Cowboys have released wide receiver Seth Williams to make room for newly acquired wideout George Pickens, who they brought to Dallas earlier on Wednesday. Pickens was traded to Dallas from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday morning alongside a sixth-round pick in next year's draft. In return, the Steelers received a third-round selection and a fifth-round pick in 2027. Williams had never played a game for the Cowboys, spending 2024 on the team's practice squad.
