In the last few weeks, the BBC competition has been thrown into crisis following an investigation, after allegations made by Amanda Abbington against Giovanni Pernice, which he has denied. Giovanni stepped down from the programme, with pro dancer Graziano Di Prima being axed from the show weeks later after being accused of 'kicking and hitting' Zara McDermott.
