Pilot killed in small plane crash in Colombia had survived similar accident in 2021 when he landed on a house
A pilot and another person were killed in a small plane crash just three years after the airman survived a similar accident. Óscar Marín was flying over the northwestern city of Juan de Acosta when the aircraft plummeted into a farm. The 56-year-old lawyer and his copilot, Diego García, 52, were both pronounced dead on the scene. Local outlets reported that Marín was flying at a low altitude while others reported that he was attempting to return to the Los Campanos Aeroclub after taking off due to bad weather conditions.
