Moment cop is busted trying to steal $900 from suspect during traffic stop - now faces criminal charges himself
A police officer was arrested over accusations he tried to steal $900 from a suspect during a traffic stop in North Carolina. The officer, Henry Chapman, was taken into custody on March 14 and charged with one count of embezzlement following the traffic stop in Charlotte. Bodycam footage shows the moment the man Chapman pulled over accused him of stealing the money. Chapman was 'fidgeting around' in his patrol car, according to a police affidavit, and another sergeant went to investigate and pulled out around $900 from the driver's side door.
