COPS have recovered a body through the search for a 17-year-old boy who disappeared after reportedly falling into a Staffordshire lake.
Police have been referred to as to Rudyard Lake last night time after three younger men, believed to be around the age of 17, have been spotted within the water.
Two of them managed to get out and have been assessed by paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
But cops confirmed that the third teenager was still lacking.
This afternoon, just after 5pm, officers sadly recovered the body of a 17-year-old boy.
His dying isn't being treated as suspicious and a file can be prepared for HM Coroner, Staffordshire Police stated.
Chief Inspector Mark Barlow, from the Moorlands native policing workforce, stated: "Our ideas and condolences are very a lot with the boy's family at this distressing time.
"Numerous officers and emergency service personnel have been working across the clock and through the night time since this was first reported to us.
"I'd wish to thank the members of the public who revered the cordon and prevented the world while we worked on the scene.
