A BMW driver admitted killing two 'lifelong buddies' in a automotive crash while they have been on their approach house from Christmas purchasing.
Ellie& Crossley& and Rebecca Doughty, both 20, died in a silver Citreon which collided with the blue BMW in November 2021, while travelling residence to Flintshire, North Wales.
Benjamin Lewis, 30, was charged with the collision and beforehand entered guilty pleas at Chester Crown Courtroom in October 2023 to demise by careless driving.
At the time of the incident he was removed from the automotive and taken to hospital with critical accidents.
He denied fees of demise by harmful driving however the prosecution didn't accept this and a five-day trial was listed for September 23.
During a pre-trial evaluate hearing& Lewis changed his pleas to responsible to the more critical cost of dying by harmful driving and the case was adjourned for studies to be ready.
A tribute from the women' families stated: 'Ellie& Crossley, from Holywell, and Rebecca Doughty, of Connah's Quay, have been lifelong buddies.
'The women, each aged 20, have been travelling house from a Christmas buying trip once they have been tragically involved in a deadly street visitors collision.
'Both families, and their associates, have been left really devastated by this tragic event and will sadly miss them.
'Close associates for their brief lives, they are going to be in our hearts eternally.'
Lewis shall be sentenced on April 29 and has been handed unconditional bail until that date.
