A European airline has been accused of fat-shaming passengers by weighing them before flights.
Finnair is the newest service to make the controversial transfer in a bid to maximise gasoline effectivity and weight distribution on its aircrafts.
Hundreds of volunteer customers have already been weighed by the price range airline along with their carry-on baggage.
But the the very concept of it has prompted a stir on social media and additional afield.

David Cortese stated: 'As long as the weighing remains personal and that there's no discrimination, what Finnair's doing has extra to do with physics and flight safety than with shaming.'
